Are you sure its a Rar file? I know WinRar opens Java files. If you want to run the java file, right click it and select run with java.

i tried but the only thing that shows is a cmd tipe of thing and then it closes again

I guess if there supposed to be java files they are might be just symbol ? On Windows just right click details and it shows the file type. And if its downloaded files they might just be packed as rar file. What you wanna do with those files ?

 this is what it showed WinRAR archiv (.jar) 

and its just some mods for minecraft i kinda got hooked to the game lately

Just do a search for default programs in the search windows bar and from there choose default apps by file types.

i founded it i cannot uncheck it

ahh no you have to hand it off to another program for it to handle. I don’t remember if one could completely remove a filetype association in windows. i’m away from my PC at the moment, so it’s hard for me to find out without testing

its what ever now i just rage uninstalled winrar :DDD
