Control Desktop Music with Smartphone

koji
Go to solution Solved by Rune,

Logitech's ARX Control app does this fairly well. You can also launch programs and monitor temps.

Anyone knows how to do that?

I play music from my Desktop and sometimes I work 2 meters away from keyboard so I would like to have the ability to skip, play/pause music using my smartphone as a remote controller. Thank you!

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X | MOBO: Gigabyte B550 Vision D | RAM: Crucial Ballistix RGB 32GB 3600MHz | GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3070 Vision D | PSU: Seasonic Focus+ Gold 750W

What music player do you use? If you have Spotify you can control the music from the app on your phone or watch.

I only use the one that came with Windows 10. I think it's Groove Music.

Is it different from the Logitech Gaming Software? I got it installed because 3 of my peripherals are Logitech.

Wow!! I downloaded it on my smartphone and it works with the drivers of my peripherals. Also works with the default Music Player. Thank you so much! This is exactly that I'm looking, no need for too many installs and set-up.

It's a bit wonky and takes a bit of tinkering, but foobar2000 has an extension that connects it to an Android-side app:
