Only go for RAM on the QVL List?

Only go for RAM on the QVL List?

I need 2x8GB (16 GB) of DDR4 Ram 3200 for a ROG STRIX X370-F GAMING Motherboard

If I have to overspend on the RAM I might as well go full out RGB but was wondering what Trident RGB RAM actually works and is in the QVL

The only Corsair LPX in QVL was this RAM https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0143UM4TC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1

And I could not find any Trident RGB RAM in the QVL at 3200

Also it does not show if it supports 3000MHz at all

QVL is only a tiny tiny listed of tested RAM that they used. You're going Ryzen so buy any ram that has Samsung B-Die if you want the advertised speed.

The RGB G.Skill Trident Z is the top selling DDR4 kit, it should be pretty easy to find out if it works from other builds online.

Make sure you're getting Samsung B-Die. Only 1 of the RGB models has the B-Die. The other RGBs have Hynix which you don't want. I think all of the Trident Z non-RGBs are B-Die thought. Look it up on google and you'll find a reddit about it which one to buy that has B-Die.

Old facts. Newer bioses allowed ram to run at T2 instead of T1 and that allowed Hynix kits to run at full speed instead of lower clocks.

Most cheaper kits are Hynix and Samsung ADie and they'll work at 2933/3200 perfectly fine.

idk

Really? Is this on AUTO? The last BIOS for Taichi X370 was 2 months ago. And I still havn't gotten past 2933 on a 3200 Hynix RAM.

Or do I have to manually set? I've tried manually setting some pre-determined stuff that people with other Hynix RAM (with my RAM, the corsair vengeance 3200Mhz) have reported that it worked. But since it wasn't the exact same motherboard. Not all setting names were the same. Like I didn't have some settings that they had on a different MB.

Just use parametric filter on PCPP, Ryzen doesn't really care
