1070ti now or GTX2000 series? #Volta

Ashton_sama

As most of you know that mining is becoming popular again making GPU's demand increases, and I pretty much can afford a 1070ti, should I get it now when the price is still low (I expect price to increase as demand for gpus are high) or wait for the new 2000 series? If the price rises next year, will it be a lot? Don't mind waiting for new tech as I hope it can last for at least 5 years.

if you need it now, get the 1070 ti (perfect for 1440p 60fps), if you already have something like a rx 580 or gtx 970 for 1080p gaming, wait.

If  you want to save money, but the 1070ti now. If you want to save MORE money, wait until 20xx series, then 10xx series will sell used for a lot less. But that's only if you're really willing to buy used hardware and are aware of the pros/cons of buying used hardware.

volta will not be the consumer architecture I feel.

anyway, go for the 1080 instead of the nerfed shit 1070ti

the gpu demand is lowering, not rising as mining is dying.

idk
