We should have a sub-forum or section apart from the rest that is generally based on music. With this forum It will allow the community to recommend, exchange, and discuss things music related. What do you guys think about this?

lol all these subforum related questions always ask for this to expand into something of a different community...say Reddit or the likes of it.

Just saying that won't happen if this forums expects to gain industry recognition like overclock.net and such

Probably not going to happen. This is a tech forum. If you want this, find another forum or use audio subforum I guess

Having subcategories of off-topic is going to become necessary as the forum grows or else it's going to become a torrent of new posts of everything from fat gamer guy surveys, to religion, or to why your musical taste is ass.

That forum doesn't actually discuss music

also off topic shouldn't show up in the recent topics lists, if it already doesn't.

Maybe it would be a good idea to have sub forums on off topic but, this is still a tech forum not a general forum. Therefore it may not be implemented.

Eh, I haven't really seen many music threads around. If there were music related threads popping up all over the place then sure, a music sub forum would be a good idea but at the moment I don't think that there's enough music talk to warrant it.
