Windows Family - I am in a random family as the child

Hello,

I am running Windows 10 64 bit and recently I noticed a lot of Microsoft Family pop ups. I did a little bit of snooping and I found that I am apparently a member of a Microsoft Family of a random person and I am the child. How do I remove myself from this family?

Thanks!

Can you make a new user that's a local account that isn't a part of the family safety? If you can do that, then there's possibly a workaround to convert your account off the family safety with the adult, since you have admin access.

Windows Family account is a live account. Using a local administrator account might not work. You will have to sign into the live family account to remove yourself from the family group.

I'm dying dude. This is very funny predicament. Wishing you all the best at trying to get your 'parents' to disown you.
