New Buy

I have recently brought a Asus FX503VD 15.6 in laptop 

 

Specs 

i5-7300HQ 

8GB Ram 

1TB Harddrive 

GTX 1050 4GB VRAM 

 

since it only has a hard drive but it comes with a M.2 Slot . So i need advice on which M.2 SSD to buy i have a buget of £150 im looking to run windows n games off it so 250GB would be nice .

850 evo? idk just look at any reputable SSD maker and see who has the best in your price range.  so like samsung, WD, ADATA, Crucial, etc...

Please don't buy an 8XX M.2 drive. They really have bad thermal issues. I had to take my 960 Pro out of my laptop because of heating problems even after I threw on some heat sinks. Honestly, unless the M.2 slot is your only drive space then get a normal SSD (unless editing or CAD), since you will not even notice the performance difference.

Just bought an 850 Evo SATA SSD. Works great. My last Samsung SSD lasted 5 years or so before it gave out. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
