B O O T L O O P I N G

Yesterday I assembled my computer. It started bootlooping. I plugged in the speaker from my old case (new didn't have one) and BOOM. PSU failure.

 

I bought this last month, and tested it with my old computer. I've run out of things I think I can do. I've done:

 

Rewire the whole thing

CMOS reset

Take it out of case, put on non-conductive surface, and then test

Unplug everything but 24 pin and 4 pin and CPU + cooler

etc

 

 

 

What else can I do other than just sending it back to memory express?

You're saying that this is a PSU, that works in your old PC yes? If it works and boots your old PC just fine but can't boot your new PC then it probably can't provide enough power.

RAM most likely. Might as well pray it's not the CPU.

Same specs, nearly. It's a CX450M, providing power for a i5 4460 and intergrated graphics.

I know my PSU stuff, and it's probably fine, even with like a GTX 1070 or something.

I once switched out my PSU and I contacted the company, shipped them my entire PC, and they tested it found the PSU had fried my CPU, bought me a replacement CPU, upgrade my PSU, and then sent it back to me. Totally worth the price I paid to ship that thing.
