Packard Bell oneTwo M3830 new cd-drive

My uncle has a Packard Bell oneTwo M3830, the cd burner died know my question is does the conection of the cd drive universal or is it specific, found the manuel of the all in one but cant find the original part:

So pretty much the question is can i put this drive: "LG DVD-RW GTC0N Slim Interna Negra 12,7mm" into the pc or does it have to be the exact model of the original.

 

Im pretty sure now a days laptops have a standard im just not sure if this old all in one has the same.

I believe you might have to get the original because of the plastic cover over it. Other drives may not fit with the frame of the pc.

Unless the frame is not part of the drive and if so then it'll be fine to just put a normal drive into it.
