21:9 and 16:9 dual monitor setup

Hey forum!

I currently have a dell ultrawide in my setup which I use for gaming and general use. The monitor has a 60hz refresh rate and suffers from pretty bad screen tearing in games like csgo, and i was wondering if i should add a higher refresh rate gsync 1080p or 1440p monitor next to it for gaming. Should I go with the dual monitor, or should I get a new higher refresh rate ultrawide? How are your guys' experiences with a dual monitor setup?

Thanks for the help!

I love dual monitor set ups, however as far as what you should go with, only you can really decide that ;)
I'd go 1440p high refresh rate + a normal one, also 1440p, in a dual monitor set up. Provided your system can handle it.

Just a warning with G-Sync / Free-Sync

If you play in windowed/borderless mode and there is any animation runing on the secondary screen and that screen happens to have lower refresh rate than your main screen... you will have a really bad time with atrocious stuttering and FPS.

It's fine if you will play on Full Screen.

I am using setup like this and its fine, just have this in mind. You will have to alt tab from games to use the other screen.

what do you mean by animation? If nothing is happening on the second one(lower refresh rate) will it effect the gsync one?
