So, after a while i decided to forego my plan to make a PC and buy console instead. Now before you yell at me, let me tell you why:

1. As we all know, PC parts are expensive these days. So that's not an option for me.

2. No, i cannot import stuff from Amazon here

3. Console seems like a great deal with the price drop of 4K HDR TV, paired with Xbox One X and PS4 Pro and it'll be better than if i bought PC for the same price.

So, my main question:

1. for my new console, should i buy PS4 Pro or Xbox One X?

2. Which system has better exclusive? (I'm not talking about the amount, just the quality of those exclusive games)

IIRC, the PS4 Pro can't play 4K HDR Blu-Rays, while the Xbox One X/S can.

Which console has the best exclusives, depends on which games you like. Xbox has things like Forza and Halo, while PS has games like Uncharted and The Last of Us.

This post doesn't fit into New Builds and Planning.

buy a turnip. (in all seriousness I'm sure you can google console exclusives for each and at least a few are well known enough for you to recognize what you like)

Sorry for the unfitting topic, but i don't see where else should i put it.

But anyway, so technically Xbox One X is way superior than PS4 Pro?

Me being an fps nerd is worried about dropped frames in 4K games with PS4 Pro

Yes, the Xbox One X is better as a console and media device.

The PS4 Pro doesn't really play most games at 4K. Mostly upscaled 1080p, and some upscaled 1440p. You sort of have to trust that the game developers tuned the game appropriately for the console

the consoles shouldn't be dropping frames, just probably targeting 30fps

Ultimately I'd pick the one that your friends play on. Most games on a console are more of a social experience.

As for exclusives, Google and check which are on each console, and which you like. None of us can answer that part for you ;)

Haha, if you're an FPS nerd then consoles aren't really the answer. They're more for the overall experience, not pure FPS.

Yeah, i thought about that. I live in Asia, so my friends mainly plays on PS4. Its just that I'm not sure about its 4K capabilities.

I did, just asking people's opinion about their exclusives

Exactly, i hate inconsistent and/or low fps. Stable fps makes the experience way better in my opinion...soo yeah

Both consols can push minimum 30fps at 4k HDR.. (period) They both upsale half of there games to 60Fps teribly compaed to a PC.. (period) If your super hellbent on getting a consol now rather then just waiting a couple months for pc parts to go down in price the i suggest u look just towards which controller u like more or which consol has better exclusive games in your opinion

Its not that i cannot wait, but these consoles are getting crazy price cut around Christmas and New Year. I've seen some fendors are selling PS4 Pro @ 50% off

You have a 4k TV?

It's more fun to play with friends than to play alone :P
