Ok so im about to go the painful job of calling up Bill Gates (aka Mircosoft) and I need some lines to get me thought the question phase like why do you need a new product code. So please you suggestions below.or above i you can do that somehow.

I'm pretty sure this is against the CoC, that is, if you are trying to get a free Windows code out of this.

If the only change you've made is moving to a SSD. That isn't going to be a problem. You don't need to ring MS at all.

 

If you have however upgraded your PC and you've tried to activate it and windows has informed you it's tied to another system and you have a retail copy not a OEM copy. Just ring the number provided on screen it takes 5mins, they tell you to read a number from the screen, and they give you a number back that allows it to activate on the new system. Your product code doesn't change.
