that one movie is Dragon Ball Evolution, he's crushed man

because of that damn failure of pile of shite, Akira Toriyama decided to make Battle of Gods, Resurrection of F and then the whole Super

the movie game on psp wasn't that bad, for gameplay anyway, was like a mix of classic mk and dragonball put together

God damn Super is terrible. GT>Super any day of the week. Still watch it because of nostalgia I suppose.

Everything is just Yamcha's dream, it's only theory that can explain Super period.

The time scale makes no sense lol. If what we saw was truly just a minute passed then everyone is talking at an extreme speed lol. The latest episode where 17 patched up 18's leg alone would've taken more than a minute.

you complain that but remember Planet Namek? at least time felt like its actually moving here

if that's the timescale they want to apply then whatever, I think what is worse is the fact that goku has exhausted all of his stamina in less than 20 minutes? dafaq? his ripped af and competing with skill and strength against gods and he doesn't even last 20 minutes?

Not if you push yourself to the absolute limit, you'll get exhausted in seconds, see jogging vs sprinting

i'm no expert but if you watch Hajime no ippo, the author really knows inside out of boxing and a lot of time he's shown that getting hit especially in the body really does drain a lot of stamina

with that said, just how many punches, kicks and beams have hit goku so far? especially heavy hitters like Jiren and Kefla

also SSB is a lot of stress to the body which isn't helping, and kaioken up to x20 made it worse

right, except there has been fights in the past that lasted longer.... goku has been in fights that lasted much longer and didn't make him this exhausted. also the more he fights in a form, the less it messes with his stamina, when he first achieved super saiyan he couldn't stay in it for long, but the more he fought the more natural of a state it became for him. they're nerfing him to drag the tournament out.

well he mastered the normal SSJ which is the reason he can last longer in that form, SSB is on the other hand is much more taxing

but then you're right cause he's been fighting in Blue for like how many episodes in those Zamasu arc so....

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've been holding out on watching till it is released on Blu-Ray. I have found it hard to avoid all spoilers but everything I've read seems pretty polarizing with the DB fanbase. I am still excited even though some of what I've seen is underwhelming or flat out disappointing.

if you watched original DB and not DBZ first in original japanese, you'll actually love it

but if you start off with DBZ and in eng dub, chances are you won't like it as much

I started with the English dub on Toonami. I've since gone back and watched DB and DBZ in Japanese and English (Funimation). My main reason for waiting to watch Super is because I hated the week to week release.

That'll be awhile if you want the entire series. (Assuming you want Dub?) Considering that the Dub is 76~ episodes behind. JP is on the 5th Season while Dub is finishing up 3 at the moment. (Dub is on 41, 42 tomorrow. JP is on 117, 118 on Sunday.)

Watch Season (Or Saga if you prefer) to Season? First two (Dub) are out now with 3rd coming in February. Although... looks like the 3rd doesn't fully cover the 3rd season... product page says Episodes 27-39. Season 3 ends at 46 though... they're clipping some of it, That's a crappy stop point considering you'll be left with a cliffhanger... Couldn't they just make it two-discs and raise the price a bit?

Could also just watch JP. Then you could watch S1-4. (Maybe 5 is finishing soon?) Sub to Funimation or Crunchyroll and watch to your heart's content. (Or other streaming sites if you prefer)

That way you won't be left hanging with the storyline since you'll be watching each specific story (season/saga) in full.
