doing a lappy mod to ditch the heat

 

anyone used those ebay heatpipes

 

there are round and flat types

Have you replaced the thermal compound and blown out the dust? Try doing one or two of those and seeing if that works.

taking some heat off the rad at the end of the CPU hpipe

 

also taking heat off the GPU chip to another heatsink, which is the magnesium bottom plate
