It's apparently a new campaign from Microsoft, with the slogan "Don't get Scroogled", where they are attacking Googles' Chromebook OS.

 

 

It’s obvious that it’s an attack on Google making it harder for Microsoft, by not being able to have official apps for YouTube or Gmail on Windows Phone.

Yeah! WTF with RT?! Why did they not just make Windows 8 on phones and tablets so you could run your normal x86 programs. Then they would have a huge app collection from start. On that you can then build on with phone adapted programs.

Again, Microsoft's marketing department is terrible. This only makes themselves look bad. If they want to win a fight like this, promote your own product in a way that it is better than the competitions. Don't use Siri to make apple look bad, show all the functionality a windows tablet offers. Some of the newer ads are better like the whole switching to windows campaign but most of this is really terrible.

The thing about Windows RT is if Microsoft thinks that's what 99% people only need they why are they attacking the Chromebook, its cheaper and it updates are frequent.
