HDR Game mode on LG TV's

so i got myself a 4k HDR TV the other day and it's great, right until it comes to game mode 

 

I've got my PS4 pro hooked upto it running @4k HDR and there's a few presets obviously, but game mode, the one i want to use presents me with a really washed out image and low colour contrast, even if i replicate the vivid preset on the game mode it still looks dim 

 

so a few questions: 

 

Does the game preset actually improve latency?

and is there a fix that you guys know of?

If the image is washed out and has bad colors. That mode does not support HDR. Game mode is usually nothing more then some picture setting tweaks. You can get better looking picture without using special modes and just tweak the colors and setting by your self.
