Razer Blade Stealth Import

Hi,

I wan't to buy a Razer Blade Stealth from the online Canadian razer store. I was wondering if anyone here has done so, to let me know how much addition fees you had to pay at the door? I wonder how much duties/tariffs/import fees I have to pay at the door on top of what I pay online. I am based in Surrey BC.

What makes you think you'll pay duties if you're buying from a Canadian store, and live in Canada? That's not really how that works...

They unfortunately ship from Hong Kong, so it counts as importing. From I have heard the Canadian store is just to show pricing in Canadian Dollar.

Oh weird. Well, laptops are duty free, so you just pay GST and PST.

Import fees depend on the shipper. If it's UPS/FedEx it can be up to $50 to clear customs. You can also choose to do it yourself for free, but that's something you'd have to look up; I've forgotten what you have to do, and instead refused to use their shipping services.
