1060 6GB capable of pushing 4K at +-60FPS at lower details?

just_dave

I have installed my LG wallpaper TV recently and wanted to try some gaming with my system. I have 1060 6GB version, do you think it can push 60fps in games like NFS:MW 2012 or War Thunder at something like medium details?

Thanks!

If you have the TV and 1060 6GB, then try it. 100% chance you will know for sure whether it works or not.聽

Haven't tried it myself..but i dont think so.

Actually, it probs can. My 980 Ti (basically a 1070) can run Battlefront at 4K on med/low. So if he's running lighter games on low, and maybe even settles for 45fps or so, it should work.聽

It will be able to run any game at 4k in 60 fps on low settings, older ones like these you mentioned will even run on higher settings

he said +-60 fps..which is i think its about 50-60..

Idk man NFS 2012 is an old game but still pretty demanding..not that demanding like witcher 3 though..and idk jack about war thunder.

But if he consider 40-45fps is playable meaning it wont annoy him then i think its possible..i think its best for him to try it himself cause most of us just gonna give him a speculation..

Thanks.

Its kinda heavy operation to escort my PC down the stairs and set all of the crap up, so i am asking first.

Just run 1080p. It鈥檒l look a bit fuzzier than native 4k but you鈥檒l get great framerate

That's an F in the profile pic
