Do I need a keycap remover?

Hey, I recently got an Asus Rog Claymore and it didn't come with a keycap remover but I can remove the keys pretty easily so, I was curious if I need one or not.

I usually don't use keycap removers, so I don't find a need for the unless you're planning to remove ALL of the keys, you may want to get them so it's faster. But other than that, no, you don't really need one

I mean wouldn't want to damage a new keyboard but sure.

Also, why would I need a respirator?

You don't need a keycap remover, you can still remove keycaps with other utensils but it can be easier with one.  Some say that there is more chance of the switch breaking if you don't use one but I wouldn't take all the keycaps off without one.  If you have one your may as well use one.
