8700k overclocking

so i just ordered a new 8700k and asus z370 prime-a anyone know a good stable voltage and speed without going above 65C, im running a h60 v1 from 2016 for cooling.

That's not how overclocking works.

Every CPU will get different voltages and frequencies that it is or isn't stable at.

It's called the silicon lottery.

yes i know, ive done my own overclocking before but i like to start somewhere that most people are stable at and then i work my self up before i crash and have to reset cmos or im starting to get uncomfortable hot.

You pretty much won't be able to get any overclock on such a bad cooler.

Leave it at stock, you'll probably be getting over 85C already.

AIO or air?

i know there is a fair differance between these 2 chips but i run my 7700k at 1.2 volts

aio um $100 and im running a corsair 100r case so 240mm rad and one thats pretty thin too

In general it's around 1.3v to 1.4v for 5GHZ, as a baseline you should try 1.35V 4.8-5GHZ first. 

The again you're not gonna get far if you want it under 65C.
