Mid Tower Case Below 45cm Height??

Ryan_1998

Any suggestions for a Mid Tower case that has to be below 45cm?

Currently in university accommodation, meaning I dont have much desk room to fit everything on the desk neatly. My current current build stands at 43cm height therefore it just fits on the side of my desk with no problems out of the way of the desk space underneath the shelf unit which is above the right side of my desk. This means I am limited to 45cm in height otherwise the case will not fit under this section or with little to no air flow. I have considered trying to re position where I could put my new build but it will just be a pain to relocate without wires everywhere. Would love to have a tempered glass side panel if possible. Was looking at the NZXT S340 Elite and the Phanteks - ECLIPSE P400S TEMPERED GLASS ATX Mid Tower Case before I noticed they would be too tall.

Whats the motherboard for your new build?

If its ATX you'll really struggle to find a case that height or smaller.

Been looking at the Fractal Design Meshify C Tempered Glass ATX it seems that its

409 x 217 x 453mm with feet

395 x 212 x 440mm without feet

Think I am going to go for it £79.99 on Amazon currently https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B074DQVB97/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1

Oh dear...

When I see those pics I have to think that you will kill your PC due to bad (non existant) Airflow. Especially the PSU...

Anyway:
You havin an ATX Motherboard is kinda a Problem. A µATX one would solve many problems and open new things to you.

Is it possible to replace the Motherboard for a µATX one? Or maybe even ITX one?

With a µATX board something like Bitfenix Prodigy could solve some problems.

Or Silverstone Sugo 11 and 12, maybe Prodigy

But an ITX would be best as it would give you the most options but also cost the most (Boards are hella expensive).

But you could use something like a Silverstone RVZ03, RVZ01-E

But with ATX, you could think about a Cooler Master HAF XB maybe.
