In light of the recent news and the many many anti-consumer decisions made by EA. I would like to request that Linus release a Keep Digging EA Edition shirt. We held Ubisoft responsible, I believe it time to hold EA to the same standards. Said shirt would ideally be very similar to the first, but would be in the EA colors and would possibly mimic their logo style. Any support is much appreciated!

Sounds like a great way to get the legal attention of a massive company.

The Keep on Digging shirt was partially aimed towards EA in the first place anyway.

Won't stop them from trying to sue you anyway.

Big companies like to bully small people and companies all the time :(

Good point, but if you forgo the branding and just stick with the general color scheme I bet it wouldn't be enough for them to go after. Plus this is one of the largest tech channels on Youtube, suing over a parody shirt would only add to the shit storm they are already in.

It is amazing how much fear large companies have instilled in people. Not saying it is not justified, it is just said though, and quite literally curtails free speech.

EA still won't take kindly to a company making a profit off someone making fun of them. Making it with something that specifically targets them isn't a good idea for a business.

PR has been doing that forever though. A person can say whatever they want, it's not so simple for a business if they want to keep running.

I see your point, and I would in no way want to hurt Linus Tech Tips.

Good luck with that, and EA is digging themselves a bigger hole. Like with Battlefront 2... fucking morons... at least they are trying to clean up that mess. Still, why EA? Why are your decisions just, well beyond stupid? Remember Origin when that first came out? Oh boy, that game client really blowed, but they have improved it over time, *cough* after many years.

I don't think its as much EA trying to clean up as it is Dice trying to salvage what would have been a great game. Feel really sorry for dice.

I feel bad for dice as well. I wonder how long before EA takes them out to the "backyard"
