Hey guys,

I was wondering if these cables (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/corsair-generation-3-sleeved-cable-pro-kit-rmi-rmx-sf-white-ca-22q-cs.html) are compatible with my HX750i, I assume they are as they are compatible with the HX line. Would I be correct in assuming that they are compatible?

Seems they're not available anymore from any websites I can find, all listed as end of life.

Only option would be to get custom ones from CableMods or somewhere similar.

Edit - actually Scan have some for sale on their eBay page at £52

Wow, IMO you'd have to be nuts to pay £85 for some cables. That's only a little under what it would cost to buy a very decent tier 1 PSU like EVGA G2 650.

But I guess we all have our stuff we'd pay more for, just a matter of priorities and tastes.

Those cables will work just fine.  Type 3 or type 4 doesn't matter for all but the 24 pin.  Just need to make sure you get a Type 3 24-pin.

You can also look at CableMod for cables.

I wouldn't straight up recommend them, theres a few catches :). They are the cheapest pre made cables, and their customer support seems to be amazing (they even pay import duties), but I have not heard particularly nice things about the cables themselves. I have seen a few people complain about the sleeving coming off due to it being crimped into the terminal rather than the slide over and melt method. Not to mention that they use crappy OEM connectors and terminals.

If you want a quick + cheap solution, they are a good choice, but if you have the time to get everything sorted, a DIY approach with Molex connectors and terminals, 16AWG wire and MDPC-X/Telios sleeving will likely net you a better result. Even the cheapo Chinese para cord I used on my cables look pretty damn good. It was my first time, but I was surprised at how quickly I picked up sleeving skills. Bear in mind, it did take me a whole weekend to sort everything out.
