If you're talking about the racing seat style gaming chairs, they are horrible, especially the cheap ones. I had a friend who got one and he sold it in less than a week because he couldn't stand how uncomfortable it was. Instead, get a chair with lots of adjustments and good quality fabric or leather.

To be honest, I've used a DX racer in one of the cafe's here in my city and they're amazing, I'm a bit average being 181cm, but they've fit me so well.

Although I've thought about getting a proper ergonomics chair, but they're so expensive..

The reason why DX racer is actually decent is because their absolute cheapest chairs start at $289.

If you're able to try them it would be best.  We have a pretty large selection of them here, some of them I really like and others aren't as good.  It depends on how it fits you, definitely don't cheap out because only the good ones with lots of adjustments are actually worth it.  Also a good office chair will treat you just as well, depends on if you want to pay that "Gamer" premium.

Look into Herman Miller chairs. Their pricey but cheaper in the long run because they last. Mine is 17 years old and in near perfect condition.

This is a good option. Also in this same price category, check out the Steelcase Leap V2. You can find both the Leap V2 and the Herman Miller Aeron used on ebay and craigslist all the time.

Edit: I suffer from chronic back pain and have used both. Currently using the Leap V2.

No, sorry, i just didn't have a lot of context for that statement. I don't know what you consider expensive, but for me anything over $150 is definitely in the "premium" segment of chairs. I was under the impression you don't want to spend too much based off your previous statements.

My most favorite aspect about them is the fact that they're a tight fit. I'm by no means skinny, and I like that it fits me snuggly, meaning that there's no slack and I feel like I'm hugged by someone.

We can safely say that I'm willing to spend roughly 300$ on a chair, that will help me live healthier.
