that's normal. it's just Windows being stupid if you transfer multiple files.

transferring multiple small files usually tanks the performance.. 

In your case, this might mean 500 small files and then 50 bigger ones.

If you experience drops in read/write on regular basis tho, your disc could be failing. But from what I see here, nothing's wrong.
