better it's 16 GB and it would work good luck  building

Whatever you do don't buy the i5 7600k, get an i5 8600k, if it isn't available where you live go with a cheaper board b250 chipset and the locked i7 7700 as it offer superior performance for the same pricing.

and you should go with a heavier PSU like this one https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139060&ignorebbr=1

and this is more I personal but I still don't understand people buying an ASRock mobo and a strix gpu

ask me about your system builds, AIO's, CPU's, PSU's, and GPU's.

Your upgrade path is the SSD and more RAM when you can afford it next year, as it is you're already getting better performance.

The thing is you're already over-spending in a really bad value CPU, if you feel i5 is all you need get the i5 8400 on a z370 mATX motherboard that should cost the same as that z270, just don't buy a 4c/4t CPU in late 2017 especially an expensive one like the i5 7600k which today is nothing but an i3 8350k.

Besides you'll be really well served by the i7 7700 it makes huge difference specially if you ever wanna game a triple a title.@PCGuy_5960 @dave_k @Morgan MLGman
