yeah, in that case, i can't imagine a fix or solution. I guess its an inherent characteristic that anyone can ask Alexa a question or issue a command.

Its in the article, it was caused by a third party app sending unauthorised commands to Alexa, even though it wasn't Amazon to blame they still refunded the guy for the price of the locksmith that the police called to get into his apartment.
