About to De-lid my i5 8600k. Any Last Words/Thoughts?

I have a rocket88 delid kit and a tube of Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra. I'm about to go to Wal-Mart and grab some liquid electrical tape and black silicone adhesive. I'm using a Cryorig C1 cooler and have a minor overclock to 4.6ghz. My temps reached mid 80s today and I realized that I'm no longer comfortable with these temps and need to take action.

Will I need to re-apply this liquid metal in 1-3 years?

Anything I should know as a first time de-lidder?

You need like nail polish or something like that to coat the rest of the substrate. Don't remember exactly what was recommended

Are you familiar with the replacement time for liquid metal? Some say you never have to replace it, some say after 6 months to a year..

Think that depends on the liquid metal used, probably once a year to be safe

I'd use the Grizzly, not the goop you have. It is a bit better thermal conductor

Don't buy Apple M1 computers with 8GB of RAM

Do you have to replace one or the other at all within the life of the chip?
