reseating the CPU can also sometimes help. But that looks bad yo.

Thanks. Purchasing new memory sticks resolved the issue.

Hi,

I got a blue screen of death the other day and decided to perform a RAM diagnosis. The number of errors are alarming. Should I buy new RAMs? Thanks.

I wouldn't start looking into purchasing new dims before clearing the CMOS, and cleaning the memory contacts with DeoxIT. It also doesn't hurt to reseat the memory as well.

start with a CMOS reset, if that dosent do it, remove the dimms and clean them, if that dosent do it then yah that RAM is broken

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Thanks for the reply. I'll clear/reset the CMOS and re-seat the RAMs.

Is that a brand name of cleaner by any chance?  Should just be a high content isoprophyl alcohol shouldn't it? that's always been good enough for most electronics I clean anyway.

After resetting the CMOS, there are less errors, but still an abundant amount. Please see below.

Thanks for the suggestion, Majestic. I'll re-seat the CPU another day.
