Im getting a new pc soon

So im deciding to finally upgrade my gtx 660 and my i5-2500k soon

but it will be a prebuilt because i get a 30% discount on dell products

 

so its either

 

option 1

ryzen 7 1700x

rx580 8gb

8gb of ram

1tb hard drive

either b350 or x370

 

option 2

i5-8400

gtx 1060 6gb

1tb hard drive

16gb of ram

z370 board

 

 

both 770$ with the discount i get

 

im going to be getting into streaming and gaming so what will be the best option

Since you say you're going to be streaming than go with option 1.

Assuming streaming and gaming at 1080p with no more than 100Hz, I would go with the build 1, otherwise, either pure gaming or streaming plus 100Hz+ monitor I would go with the i5.

its a dell pc so a oem one but linus did a review on the ryzen dells and they ARE overclock able
