Best Monitor for around $200-300

I am looking into a monitor that is in the 200-300 dollar range. Preferably freesync, but it's fine if it's not.

The ViewSonic XG2401 is the usual recommendation there.

I am looking for something with a higher refresh rate 100+. I also forgot to mention that I want it to be ips if possible.

For IPS 100+ Hz displays you won't find anything in that price range, they are only available at 2560×1440+.

Ok thanks. Is ultrawide and curved worth it? If so, whats better?
