Hey guys, im not an expert, but somewhat competent about computers. I am looking for a better graphics card for my PC that would run Minecraft (While running fraps) better than my current intagrated one that i have. normally i get about 40-70 fps depending on settings and 30 when recording. also, if it didn't require a power source, because i am  not seeing the correct power connector things coming from my power source. i would like to keep the price range under $150 or even $200 if it would really make a difference.

                                     Thanks,

                                                MrGeneralJWAT

A 7790 should be good, and you can just use an adapter for the power supply.

If you have the proper power connections, an Nvidia GPU with an H.264 encoder using ShadowPlay could be the best solution for you.

You could use a new psu. What case do you have?

Also, what kind of dollars are you using?

this entire thread makes my head hurt... I don't know why... but it may be that he wants to spend $200 on a gpu to become yet another minecraft youtuber. When my crappy 9800 runs it just fine... Then he tries to link us to an image on his computer like it was on imgur. And there is a guy here who has no avatar but 1000 posts. And its like if megadarkwood and dirka fat had a baby. my mom is out in the rain volunteering at the church right now, shes gonna catch a cold and then i'm gonna have to learn to make soup... I need a drink but we only have lemon water and I hate lemon water.

I would go with a GTX 650 Ti, or a GTX 7790.

My PC:

For mine craft graphics I would say an HD 2000! Just kidding! You should grab a gt 650ti boost or a 7770
