Cutting really close with 750watts. Try to go for 850watts to make leeway for overclocking both GPU and CPU

Depends on what other components you use but most likely yes.

Even though the 290 is a very power hungry card, it still only use about 250 watts in worst case scenarios. So for two GPUs that's 500W. That leaves you with 250 watts for the CPU, mobo and the rest of the system. If you got for example an Intel CPU then that will use less than 100W, your motherboard won't use more than like 20 watts, HDD/SSD/fans etc becomes maybe 30 watts, and you got about 100 watts to spare. It is cutting it a bit close though since those 290s uses so damn much power.

It's worth noting that the numbers I am quoting (taken from Anandtech, TechPowerUp and a few other sites) are not only worst case scenarios, but also measured in AC wattage, and your PSU is rated for DC wattage, so assuming you got a high quality PSU you will have even more headroom (if it's 80+ then you will have about 20% more headroom).

If you got an AMD processor and is thinking of overclocking then I am not sure if 750W is enough. With an Intel processor it should be enough though.

Edit: Forgot to say, don't cheap out on your PSU. Get a high quality one. Brands like Rosewill might say they are rated for let's say 750W but they might just be lying, and the PSU will break if you put more than 500W on it. Oh and if it breaks, there is a risk that it will kill all other components as well. Get a PSU that is a rebranded Seasonic unit. XFX, most Corsair and a lot of Antec PSUs are rebranded Seasonic units.

Get this. http://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-ATX12V-EPS12V-Silver-ST85F-P/dp/B00307RLZW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1386415722&sr=8-1&keywords=silverstone+strider+plus+850

Never heard of issues with Strider Plus PSUs, but Corsair tends to use as low quality components as possible without making them bad units....

The PSU I linked and the PSU you linked.

The one that you listed was 80+ bronze vs 80+ Gold. That power supply that you listed is non modular.

Its not that big of a difference. But if you do like cable management then so be it.

Ok, but is the difference that drastic?

In the grand scheme of things, not really. If the 80+ Gold costs considerably more, the cost difference won't offset the money you save on energy for a long time. If the price difference isn't too great, go for 80+ Gold or Platinum. Otherwise. a quality 80+ Bronze unit is good.

The blue plastic is great for blue/black themed builds.
