Gaming Laptop Help / Recomendation

Good Evening Everyone,

 

I wanted some recommendations for powerful gaming laptops. I know that 4K screens on laptops is kind of pointless, so i would like 1440p or 1080p. If it is 1440p I think a GTX1080 would be better, but if it is a 1080p then I think a 1070 would probably be fine.

 

My budget would be about 2300, but if I could spend less that would be awesome.

 

edit: I would prefer to play games at ultra settings at 60hz or better. I am fine if it doesnt go above that because I dont play things that are that fast paced.

IMO you need 1070 for that, and that means a good cooling solution is needed

MSI GT, Alienware 15/17, Gigabyte X5/X7, Clevo P650/670HS, Clevo P775DM3 (15 inch is not recommended since the cooling space is limited)

Undervolting CPU&GPU, liquid metal repaste and delidding (for desktop CPUs) are recommended

Yeah that is why I had posted originally that I wanted a 1070 or 1080. I just dont like the prices of the 1080 systems, and they are not that much lower for the 1070 ones.
