Hello! I decided to start a bit of a club for everyone who owns what some people (including me) like to call room heaters. These are GPUs that include cards such as the Radeon 4000, 5000, 6000, and 7000 series cards, or Nvidia's 400, 500, and 600 series cards. Come here to discuss overclocks, benchmarks, problems, buying and selling, or just showing off your GPUs! Let's talk, I want to hear what you guys have to say :)

I'm not convinced all those things you listed have the same reputation.  Wasn't the 5000 series from AMD actually beating the nvidia alternative at the time?  And I don't remember anyone complaining about 600 series nvidia...

 

Edit: I just went back and checked the LTT video about this and yeah, I'm right, 5000 series AMD was up against the 400 series from nvidia and, unsurprisingly, was better on thermals.

 

Also, I have a Fury so I guess that counts as membership here lol

I've got a passive cooled gt 610 laying in a box somewhere... Does it count? (currently running on an A8 5600k APU, which I peg non-stop for the moment due to Handbrake)

Well, not sure. But room temp is about 23 degrees C, so I'd asume that GPU in the box has about the same temps...

 

Handbrake is a tool to convert video's. (whatever I'm doing, it will use the remaining CPU power to get it up to 100% usage for me...)
