better in terms of what exactly?

Noise? temperature? Overclocking possible?

I guess both are similar.~

But check prices... If it's too expensive, i would not take it over a MSI Gaming X / Gigabyte Aorus  for example, if you would pay 100 bucks more~.

for what? those are LN2 cards, not gameing machine cards anyway. for watercooling id get an FTW and for air cooling probably one of those large af MSI cards

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

they make just one version of the HoF 1080TI as far as i can see, well there is one with a fancier cooler, but thats it. both are cards ment to have LN2 pots slapped on them, like they will both work perfectly but it feels to me like a waste of a nice card to have it sit with its air cooler its entire life

If they are not good, then can y'all tell me some 1080 TIs that you can overclock to 2.1 Ghz silicon lottery or not.

they are REALLY good cards, but running them on air isnt what they are ment to do. do you NEED to have heaters under your GDDR5X? because the kingpin has that so the memory can perform its best under LN2. these cards are built mainly for extreme overclockers, and are not really ment for the avrage joe that wants to watercool. unless you are literally going for WR on watercooling id probably not bother with these.

Ok then can you tell me some cards that can hit 2.1 Ghz? People say that you have to win a silicon lottery to be able to OC an FE to 2.1 Ghz. I don't really wanna have to deal with all of that. I just need an SLI compatible 1080 TI that can hit 2.1 Ghz on a custom loop.
