1200 euro editing pc

Hey guys, I'd like your help on picking parts for a video and photo editing pc for around 1200 euros. I don't need a specific parts list, more of an idea of roughly the kind of parts I would want to use. I'd also like to ask how important a gpu is, since this build won't be used for gaming. I've heard that having a dedicated gpu helps but aside from that there's no real benefit (was thinking something along the lines of a 1050).

Probably a ryzen 5 CPU with some type of budget GPU, maybe 16gb of ram? Depends what you are editing.

Either a Ryzen 5 or 7, and just having a dedicated GPU works so a 1050 is fine. I would dump the rest into at least a 3000hz kit of Ram and try to get 16-32gs

Yeah was thinking the same, currently have a parts list with a 1050, 1800x, 300mhz 32GB ram stick and a 500GB SSD so it's right where it needs to be (doesn't nee much storage due to a local NAS being used for that).
