Posted October 18, 2017 I like vertical, but I never go full screen mode... Ever. I'm always multi-tasking on a computer. On a different note, wish more brackets and all that jazz were on the left side. Im not left handed, but i prefer to use my left hand for typing and everything but writing because i make more wrongs than rights ;0 but seriously its nice going to the right of the screen where the close window button is and then you can open programs faster. Also it opens more space for more vertical box windows. Posted October 22, 2017 Horizontal, visible and at the bottom of the screen, aka standard windows style. I tired having it at the top of the screen but after a while that was just too edgy for me. i5-3570k @ 4.6Ghz|Asus P8Z77-V-LE PLUS|16GB Kingston Hyper X DDR3|ASUS STRIX GTX1070 8GB OC Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/848139-taskbar-orientation/#findComment-10593691 Share on other sites
 Posted November 14, 2017 I tend to keep my taskbar visible at all times. The vertical positioning is for stylistic preferences. Strangely, however, I didn't continue that orientation when I started using MacOS or Linux. I have issues.
