AMD R9 NON-REFERENCE CARDS ?

Hi everyone i was just wanting to know if anybody coul tell me when the no-reference r9 cards are going to be released.

In regards to that ASUS 290x, I'm surprised they are going with a 6+8 pin power design, seems a bit light for that card. The MSI Lightning version has dual 8 plus an extra 6 pin for memory, from what we've seen of the PCB.
