As you should know, Google maps is meant to blur out number plates, But i found this scene where it blurs out a logo with a false positive but fails to blur out actual number plates.

Found at salisbury station car park streetview.

If you check out the front gate of Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, NJ, there's a stop with trees in spring (leaves are green) and then the next stop has trees without leaves during the late autumnal months. xD

Honestly I don't get why Google even want/need to blur license plate (even street addresses), you can literally go outside and see them for yourself, what's the point of hiding them online.

It's just their AI that flagged the wrong thing. No company has enough money to manually review that many images to ensure 100% accuracy.

I know this may sound obvious, but have you told Google? I think the person that owns that plate would like their plate to be safe.

Depending on the country this photo was taken in, it may not matter. For instance, in Canada it's not illegal to take pictures of license plates on any public roadways since you're in a public area. Technically, license plates belong to the issuing insurance agency anyway, so it's actually their call on whether or not you can take pictures or reproduce the plates in any way shape or form because they constitute as a form of official identification for your car in the event of a claim, along with your VIN and proof of insurance paperwork.
