Should I get the i5 8400 and which motherboard with it.

So I want to build my first gaming pc, I want to use this pc for mostly gaming so I've checked a lot of benchmarks and I've seen that Intel cpu's perform a little better in games. I am not planning to overclock since I don't feel the need for it that much and I don't have any experience with overclocking. So I think a i5 8400 would suit me better. I would like to pair it with a 6GB 1060 and 16GB of DDR4 ram. I would like to know which motherboard I should get for my potential build and wheter a 650 Watt power supply is enough. Any other suggestions are welcome.

I live in the Netherlands so prices may vary.

Wait for the H370 or B360 or H310.

If you need a Z mobo, the Asus Prime Z370-A is nice

Don't buy Apple M1 computers with 8GB of RAM

Wait till B motherboards come. Z mobo are the only ones available and are expensive as F. Not worth if you arent overclocking.

I know this thread is old, but I would recommend the MSI Z370-A PRO, it's only 110 USD on Newegg and is the only z motherboard that I could find that isn't crazy expensive. Also a 650w power supply should more than suffice for your build,
