Best case for travelling?

JoshuaTjandra

I live in Canada 8 months of the year, but I go back to Indonesia during the 4 month summer.

I need a case that is small enough to fit in a hand carry suitcase, preferably M-ATX but if that is not possible than m-itx wil be fine,

Needs to be sturdy, handles is a plus, not more than $200.

Also I need to fit a gtx 780, 2 hard drives and an SSD

Thanks!

Silverstone Sugo SG10. Not the best looking case, but you can cram a decent amount into it.

I've got a Fractal Design Node 304 and would recommend getting one of those. It has the ability to modify to fit larger GPU's, coolers, and has good airflow with filters.

The only downside is that it doesn't have any carrying handles but that may not be an issue for you.

I have a Silverstone SG10, chose it over the Bitfenix case because of the nice build quality and smaller size. Your fan mounting options on the side for the GPU diminish when you're using a Noctua NH-D14. (You'll have to remove the included 120mm fan on the side) Also you need to be creative with your cable management :) I hope you have a modular power supply. Water cooling wise, there is only room for a 120mm rad and it replaces the back fan. Also you'll have to remove the top big fan if you want to go this route, which also cools the two hard drives... READ THE MANUAL, I know Linus says the same thing, but it really contains essential information regarding cable management and component limitations, cooling, etc. +10 for Silversone for the geat manual. Building in this case will take to 2-3x longer and does require some planning. The only complaint I have is that there is no options for ventilation on the bottom of the case. You can install 80mm fans on the side if you dont have a tall GPU and 92mm if you're not using a big ass cpu cooler. My tall GPU cooling requires 4 slots, and as such could really benefit from some ventilation holes on the bottom. I'll probably end up drilling some holes in the base, and maybe putting some taller legs on the bottom. BTW, the included 120mm fans don't move a lot of air, I really recommend going Noctua if you have the money.
