Cloning ide Win 95 Armada 4131T

Ok so I have a really old armada 4131T that I want to upgrade the HDD in. The current drive is a 1.4GB PATA IBM disk. I have a 40GB that I would like to transfer everything over too since I need more room for games from the era on it. My issue is the laptop only has room for 1 drive, i only have 1 pata to usb cable, and the laptop has no usb functionality. It does have a cd drive in the dock, though I am not able to install a fresh copy due to lack of drivers available and no bios in a sense as we know it today. This things bios is actually a partition on the main drive with the software on it.

Acronis doesn't work for me due to having to buy it, EaseUS seems to not read the whole drive and only the main partition so when I put the larger drive back into the laptop it doesn't seem to boot, laptop does have a secondary slot in the dock for either a battery or a drive but from what I can find it only supports 1 drive total in the machine.

Thoughts?

You can give a try with aomei backupper to clone it, since you want to boot from the new disk, before migration, you can check whether it supports Windows 95.

hmmm never heard of that one before. I'll try it
