coil whine with extra soundcard

Hey Guys,

I have a creative soundblaster audigy 5/rx and I had no problems. Now I can hear coil whine while playing csgo(300fps). I bought the soundcard to get rid of the coil whine in the first place. Don`t know why it came back now. I tried to change the PCI slot and download new drivers(I had the newest one already, still reinstalled it).

My specs:

Win10 Pro

i7 4790k 4.0Ghz

MSI G45-z87

16GB DDR3 Ram

Creative Soundblaster Audigy 5/rx

Asus Strix GTX 1060

Coil whine usually comes from the video card. Sound cards shouldn't be the source of the whine.

Yeah.. I now know what the real Problem is, but I don`t know how it is called in English. The German word is "Übersprechen". I think it is crosstalk. How can I stopp it?

Does it go away when you use the on board audio?

Are you routing your headphone cable near the rest of your cables where it could be picking up crosstalk from other wires?
