Can you explain the differences?

Just read what it says literally right on the website...

The 5 has two capsules, the 4 has one.

Howdy! So, as the marketing guy here at Antlion I want to say thank for considering us for your mic solution :)

Here's the brief breakdown of the 4 vs 5.

ModMic 4:
Fixed 3 meter long cable

Uni-Mode Only (Noise canceling)

One version with In-Line Mute Switch (Switch is built into the cable)

One version without the mute (7 dollars cheaper)

ModMic 5:

Modular cable with 1 meter and 2 meter included. Can be combined for 3 meters.

Omni Mode (Better for recording in a quiet environment) and Uni Mode

Modular Mute Switch (Can be removed)

Cable Wraps for different style cable management

Both ModMic 4 and 5 have the following:

Cable Clips, extra adhesive, and extra base clasp

Awesome hard-shell carrying case

Our satisfaction guarantee, 30 days

Our 1 year warranty

Our amazing customer support

And none of them have:

A USB adapter (You want this if you are planning on jacking directly into a PC motherboard probably)

A Y adapter (You want this if you plan on using a PS4/XBox1 OR tablet/smartphone)

Hope that helps!

Director of Marketing for Antlion Audio, creators of the ModMic.
