Can I run Aida 64 stress test overnight?

Will it damage my hardware while I sleep?

No it won't be a problem, the system if it overheats will thermal throttle and shutdown if it's sustained long enough.

Only if it overheats.

That is a common practice for testing rig stability, you should be fine. Most of the components in the system have the ability to trigger a shutdown if temps go wrong.

Is your hardware new and/or still under warranty?

This is generally a procedure I do with all my computer hardware I buy new still under warranty. I run a stress test on my parts for a week (yes a week) to determine the overall stability. My view is any hardware running full-tilt for 168 hours should be plenty of time to break it in. IF you want to make a little of money while you're doing this, mine some cryptocurrency while you're at it to even make money while stress testing your computer.

Thanks Guys! I tired it and my temps went to 60 C before even running stress at 3.9Ghz 1.4v?

Hit it with a stress test to see what your get, your voltage is somewhat high I would dial it back if your temps are quite high.

I tend to run blu ray HEVC encodes on Handbrake overnight (with AVX loads to boot). I'm not using the PC then, why not squeeze the best quality out of that time?
