Hi,

I have recently worn out the left click on my 3rd Logitech Anywhere mouse. I use the mouse exclusively all day everyday while at uni with my laptop (my track pad is disabled) so I put alot of wear on the mouse. I am looking for a replacement with more durable left and right click buttons.

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

razer deathadder elite.. I've had it for a year, upwards of 5 hours of gaming a day with it on a gaming pad.. works like a charm. A bit loud but quality made.

In terms of durability. The new onse well die within 5 months

I can agree that MX master is a quality mouse tho

Razer mouses have steadily degraded in quality over the past couple of years.I would avoid them as most mice tend to die within 5 months of use and their customer support is terrible

I looked at MX master, but they seem to basically be the same fundamental design as my anywhere 2, just in a different shell. (Correct me if I'm wrong) I do think it is a good mouse, I just don't want it to become irritating in 18 months like my anywhere 2 is.

I was actually thinking something wireless from the Logitech gaming lineup, as they actually state a click rating for let/right click. They are a fair bit cheaper locally for me than the prices on Logitech's website.

Well.. mine is probably made in 2015 or sth.. is that bad? Also, I haven't noticed any complaints over this mouse.. really just praise and positive reviews.. It has a great sensor.

It's true tho that their costumer support is crap. But I live in Europe, so every costumer support for anything is crap here.

I have never particularly liked razer. I think there stuff is good on the surface, but its fundamentally crap, and overpriced. You''re right, the most recent offerings have degraded.

Also, the deathadder has a single piece of plastic over the entire back of the mouse, not a sign of quality, compared to other offerings with completely separate pieces of plastic to actuate the left and right click.

Yes, I got a G502 for my desktop about 6 months ago, I game on it fairly regularly. But want a mouse I can leave in my bag for uni. It won't be used for gaming, as my laptop can barely get 20fps at 1366x768 on low (even in old games). The only reason I was looking at gaming mice was to get more durable left/right clicks.

if it has a nice sensor, bonus, as I find crap mice rather offensive, after my G502.

Ah. I'll vouch for the bigger MX mice (I can't remember their model names, but I'm sure you know which one it is). I've got a few friends who've had them for years and they don't have any issues.

Overpriced, and lower build quality.
You're paying for the edgy name and branding.
Compare any mouse from a different big name company such as corsair, logitech, etc, and the same price and it will be better.

@Clockwork_princess Pretty good argument there.

You basically pay more (about double for mice) and get significantly less. I got a G502 for $80 NZ. A worse razer mouse costs $180 NZ.

If it's that overpriced there then yeah its a pretty bad deal. (its like $50 here in the US so its not that overpriced here)

DA elite supposedly fixed all the qc issues though, my friend is still testing it and if you're interested in it, its a tad taller towards the front and the palm hump.

If you're just looking for a regular cheap mouse, uh G203, or a cheap wireless logi mouse will work fine.

i would prefer wireless. All razer stuff  is ultra expensive were I live. I can't get a g203. I want to get a fairly decent mouse, as I hate crappy sensors, and don't want to be buying a new one every year. My budget is around that for an mx master 2nd gen or g703.

just get a 703 then?

I dont understand why you need a 3366 for just "school work" and not gaming. Waste of money. whatever's cheaper, the mx or the 703

The 703 is $10  cheaper. I know the sensor and wireless interface is overkill, but I think the G lineup may be better due to the uprated buttons with 50 million clicks.
