a quick google search shows that a usb bluetooth comes in that formfactor

Can be anything, and you can't really track it to my knowledge without any number on it to google.

Next time when making a post try to pick a proper Title and give us some information to start with instead of simple short answers on our guesses.

This seems like a quiz where they needed to pull information out of you instead of delivering the information when you created the post.

That could be anything. If you open device manager and don't see anything saying Wireless network or Bluetooth, then its neither. I would say its connection piece for wireless mouse or keyboard. Or both. Those operate in specific radio frequency, so unless you find other part, they are useless.
