Best Gaming Laptop - Sub $1,500

Advic3

Hi all. I'm looking to buy a gaming laptop. I don't have any requirements really. Under $1,500, atleast 1080p.

Currently looking at this one - http://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-laptops/new-inspiron-15-7000-gaming/spd/inspiron-15-7577-laptop/dncwfs618h - but was seeing if I could push my budget a little bit more.

Thank you all!

CPU : i7 4790K // GPU: MSI 980Ti 6G // CPU Cooler: LEPA AquaChanger 240 // MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI // RAM: 16GB HyperX Fury @ 1866 //    Case & PSU // Fractal Define S & EVGA 750W

I would avoid Dell if you can. I know from experience that thier customer service is tirrible. They have flat out lied to me about what my warranty covers in order to squeeze money out of me for repairs.

Does the laptop need to be thin and light? What kind of battery life do you need? How much gaming performance are you hoping to get out of what kind of games ( CSGO at 90fps high settings vs the witches 3 at 60fps ultra)? What screen size do you want? How much game storage do you need?

Thin and Light - Not really, I 100% want a dedicated GFX card.

Battery Life - 90% of the time it's gonna be plugged it.

Gaming Performance - Med - High settings.

Screen - 15-17

Storage - Alot. GTA & witcher are Giant by themselves.

This one is refebished, which souls be fine. It comes in under budget and seems to meet your requirements. It has a 1tb hard drive that you might want to swap out for a 2tb (about 80$ for a 2.5 inch 2tb on Amazon) if you need extra space.

Thank you!

1TB should be more then enough and the 256gb SSD is nice for the OS so it will be snappy. Thanks.

Something with GTX 1060

Acer Helios 300, Lenovo Y520/720, Dell 7577, Clevo models like P650 and P950, MSI GS VR, Alienware 13/15/17 no gsync, just to name a few

Bump $100 more and you can get a decent GTX 1070 laptop

Add storage by yourself if it doesn't meet your needs

This one from Cyberpower PC should work well it's only $1255 before adding more storage. https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/Vector-II-Z-15-VR-300-Gaming-Laptop
