Which processor is best for gaming i5 7600k or I7 7700k for a Nvidia GTX 1080 graphics card

What is the normal and overclock temperature of both i5 7600k and i7 7700k processor while gaming

At normal clocking how much advantage is i7 having over i5

In my country it i7 7700k costs 100$ more than i5 7600k. Is i7 worth 100$ more for gaming

7700k, somewhere between 30 and 80ºc at between 4.2 and 5.2 GHz depending on how you cool it and whether intel did a good job with the tim or if you delid... and anywhere from 0-40% depending on the game

Agree on the ryzen if you haven't bought anything yet.

If you already have the MOBO or aren't interested in AMD no matter what, then the 7700K or 6700K are the best gaming CPUs available right now.  If you can keep them cool they will handle anything you can throw at them when it comes to gaming.  The 7600K will run out of speed when paired with a 1080 or 1080TI and 1080P graphics on some titles.

i5's haven't been that spectacular since the 2500k from 2011. Before Ryzen, Intel has been super stagnant. where each gen only got slight performance bumps. At that price range, either go 1600 or wait for Intel to release 6core i5's for the better IPC and increase cores. If you're willing to go 300+, 7700k still isn't that great a value given the thermal issues. Go 1700 or wait for Coffee lake. Kabylake is incredibly disappointing.

Edit: Previous CPU was a 6700k which I've given away hence the Ryzen rig and not 7700k.
